The Animal Protection Society and Animal Law Source are pleased to invite employees of DeKalb County Government to join us for the 26th Annual APAW Expo! While we are happy to facilitate free admission for DeKalb County employees, we need some information about who will be joining us!

21 POST Hours for Law Enforcement Officers. APPLIED FOR

Law Enforcement: We have applied for 21 POST Credits.   You will need to sign in, in the morning and out in the afternoon. We will send in your information to POST. Please include your Okey # in the form below. 

 

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR POST CREDIT -  You must sign in at the registration table each morning and provide your okey number.  (POST no longer charges per course)

15.5 CLE Credits for Attorneys. APPROVED

Prosecutors/Judges: If you would like CLE credits for any classes attended, Georgia Bar rules require attorneys wishing to receive CLE credit, must pay $4.00 per course you attend. Attorneys pay through APAW Expo at the end of the Expo. A link will be emailed to you to fill out the form and pay for credits. This fee is passed on directly to the GA Bar. Once payment is received in our system, we will submit your attendance confirmation and CLE hours along with payment to the GA Bar.  16 CLE Credits applied for

Animal Control Officers:

10 NACA Hours (National Animal Control Association) APPROVED

All conference courses are approved for NACA CEUs as consistent with the CEU policy.” (Conference In-Person 10 CEUs per year with Proof of attendance/Certificate of Completion) NACA policy – a “CEU = 1 hour of instruction time.” APAW attendees can receive 10 NACA hours: your yearly requirement! 

Please fill out the form below.  When you arrive at the APAW Expo, please check in at the registration desk for you conference credentials.  This gives you access to all courses for both days and access to the exhibit hall with over 100 exhibitors. You will also receive a swag bag and Certificate of Completion.    

 

Lunch is "on your own" at any of the numerous restaurants surrounding the Hotel at Avalon.  Please don't partake in the lunch in the exhibit hall, that is for GVMA attendees only and we will be charged.
